The goal is to keep the old oak alive. Through increasing harsh environmental conditions and changing seasons,  you must nurture the tree's water, nitrogen and phosphorus supplies. 

      A player will start with a hand of four cards. The cards come in a few types: compost cards, water cards and  treatment cards. Compost cards will give the tree a certain amount of nitrogen and phosphorus over a short duration of time. The water cards will similarly provide your tree with water.

     Each turn,  the tree absorbs nutrients from its surrounding. Then, the player draws a new hand. The player can play any card they want . Finally, the tree must consume resources. If the tree has enough nutrients and it is day time, then it can recover hit points. However, if the tree has sufficiently low nutrients, it will take hit point damage.
